When you want some help writing something and don't want to pay for an enterprise plan, Rytr is typically what people turn to. The idea is to pay 9 bucks for an unlimited character subscription with over 40 use cases including the ads you'll find for your favorite blog and on social media - along with emails product descriptions outlines and the like. The low price of admission, with a free plan that offers a10K character writing budget each month, make it really accessible for freelancers students and small businesses that just need a little AI help from time to time rather than forking over an exorbitant sum of money. The use case templates give some sort of organization around typical tasks instead of you having to come up with a whole bunch of different prompt ideas every single time. MyVoice let you take a sample of content you have written previously and match that style and structure with generated content. Chrome extension support means you don't have to switch tabs to write using your favorite apps and tools, including Google Docs Gmail, among other applications. The biggest "con," however, is that content from Rytr is not as deep and sophisticated as with competitors at two or three times the price because it's powered by a previous generation of AI models. Blog articles, complex blog posts, and detailed articles required far more manual editing than those written by Writesonic and Jasper for the equivalent task. On shorter texts like email subject lines, social captions, product descriptions, and outlines, Rytr performs comparably to most of its counterparts and is still very compelling for value. If short-form content with high volumes and low prices is your priority, Rytr is undoubtedly the most attractive bargain in the category of AI writing tools.
